Lot 98 read as: Air India International Flight 1948 Complete sheet - of 160 stamps, major perf splitting. Sheet should be considered Split. Slightly toned and with other faults including gum loss in some stamps. But all that does not detract from the rarity of the sheet. Also displaying both known verities in this issue Extra Porthole and Broken Tail. An extremely rare sheet.
Lot 162 read as: National Emblem of India complete sheet - of 144 stamps, perfs split in the middle. Also, one row completely split from the sheet but all stamps present. Slightly toned and with other faults including gum loss in some stamps. Eventhough the sheet is split, sheets of this issue are rarely seen or offered.
